Simple CAI Question

Simple CAI Question

Postby WJN333 » Mon Dec 05, 2005 11:31 pm

Ive been told that the air filter from the Injen SRI would fit the UFPD extension tube, Is this true? Second If its not or I should get another one, could somebody tell me the number of the right one?

Dont want to get this project about finished to find out I need another part.

Thanks

The diameter of the pipe is 2.75 inch so just make sure you have a filter that can fit 2.75 inch

I dont know, the extension tubes were designed for the V6, and I am going to run it off a SRI for the four cylinder.

Just buy your SRI and and see what size it is. . . unless someone can just tell you the size of the piping for the 2AZ SRI

4cyl's SRI is 2.5" (5S for sure, 2AZ im pretty sure)
UFPD's CAI's is 2.75"

My injen's filter DID NOT FIT on my CAI, no matter how hard i tried. A quarter inch is a huge stretch.
