:D Mann... I had those shoes before. :D They are pretty good. If your looking for off the line performance grip, great wet weather traction, good tread wear, aggressive tread pattern and quiet riding tires, then they are the ones for you. Now if your looking for great looking side walls and better cornering/bitting power, then the Yokohomas ES100's are your sure bet. The ES100 though lack in wet traction performance as far as hydroplaning and short tire life :-? . The BFG KDW2 tires should only be used for the summer and not for the winter. Hope this extra info helps out.

They don't look like they'd be great in the snow, but most performance tires aren't. But then again, you probably don't get that much snow where you are.

These are summer tires. They have a soft compound that hardens when they are subjected to cold tempertures. I kind of like a bucket of water freezing in 32 (and below) degree weather into a solid block. When the tires harden the rubber doesn't flex or bite like it should to get any kind of extra grip. The tire is Z-rated and it doesn't have enough sipes to bite or channel enough water out of the tires path. The big tread blocks are an indication that they are designed to be a summer tire application also a temperture of A and a traction rating of AA. These sticky tires are not designed for the cold winter months (if you live in the snowy states). :P
