Hey guys, I really cant figure out what the problem is. I had some Enkei 18x8's installed, and they were rubbin pretty bad (was runnin 225/35/18 tires w/ +38mm offset) So I figured that it was an offset problem or maybe that the wheels were too wide...I just couldn't figure it out. I didnt have my front fenders rolled or anything, but my rears were cut. Every time I would go over a big and sudden dip on the highway or something, the tires would rub somewhere. I could never figure out what it was so I just kinda left it.

Now, I upgraded to some 18x7.5" SSR Comps. Offset is +42mm so its even further inside the wheel well, and the rubbin sucks even more! I have 225/45/18's on there now, and they still rub on dips in the highway. Before the rears were not a problem but now I even hear the rears rub on the dips. If that wasnt annoying enough, when I turn into a driveway now, or make any sort of 90 degree turn, the front tires seem to get almost "caught" on the fenders.

What should I do? Im thinking a few things. First of all, I have the eibach prokit. When the dude installed my struts, he cut off some kind of foam thing that he said was useless now. Could that be the problem? Do I need new springs? Maybe Tiens? Struts? Im running KYB's right now. Do I need wider fenders? WTF is the problem!?!?!?! I've seen people run 19's with no problem and I keep rubbin with 18's. Im so lost. PLEASE HELP!!!

i think they are rubbing on the outer edge...does anyone have a crafty way to figure out where the rubbing is happening? Like how you put a tire underwater to see if its leaking? I was thinking of like chalking the tire but i figure it would all rub off on the road before I could get it to rub...ideas?
