Change in mind about rims for my ride, your opinion needed

As most of you know Im planning on getting rims for my car hopefully by spring. Sadly enough my original plans had to change but I originally was going to get 18'' ASA AR1's. Due to me being a poor college kid and having consistant bills to pay I just can't hack the price for 18'' and tires. Also too many unforseen events. Plus some other pros vs. cons incorporated too. So here are the new plans tell me what you guys think. And try to picture these on my car with its color.

Here is a picture of the car so you get the idea.
Image

Most likely the one im leaning towards This the ASA AR1 17x7 with a 38 or 40 offset. $179
Image

Next Choice possibly, ASA JH8 17x7 with 38 or 40 offset. $159
Image

Same wheel in black but im not sure if i like the silver center.
Image

I also like these as much as the JH8s. They are Enkei ZR1 17x7.5 with 40 offset. $147 These are hyperblack
Image

These are Enkei RSV's which look similar to the ZR1s. These are 17x7 with a 42 or 35 offset in Anthracite. $121
Image

These look pretty good, Enkei EVO5 17x7 with a 42 or 35 offset in hyperblack. $134
Image

Dont know much about G- Racing but these are G-Racing Seki 17X7 dont know the offset. $175 in gloss black.
Image

Sorry this is long, but thanks for your opinions

All but the JH8's look good to me. I'm stuck in that situation myself. Good luck with the decision.

I'd have to say the AR1's followed by evo5.

Personally, I like my Enkei RSVs in 18". I can't wait for Winter to go away so I can put them back on.

The ASAs are pretty hot looking on your color of ride.

I'm an Enkei person since I got myself hooked up with the higher end Enkei Racing Wheels RS+M's. ZR1's got me digging  Plus they're 1/2" wider. More width is better to have a bigger foot print for grip. Almost thought mine would come in 8" but only the 18x7.5 with the lug type 5x114.3 available.

At least you'll have some good advantages. Don't regret :P enjoy the new shoes when you get'em!

Those GTR's are pretty nice. But i kindof want something with a dish in it.

WTF- Im pretty sure about the 17's. I did a lot of number crunching and the 17's had more pros than the 18's. It mainly comes down to costs of the tires and partially with the cost of the rims. I want a 45 tire and to get that with in 18 drives the price up. If I get a 40 tire they are more prone to blowing out on ohio's famous potholes. The ride will be more comfortable on 17's, and they will be lighter. Tires are cheaper for them too. The overall diameter of the tires and wheels together will be about the same with 18 vs. 17. Its just that the rim will be slightly smaller with a thicker tire. Plus its taken me like 8months to just save up $700 bucks. Thats just enough for rims and i havent bought anything else since then. I really want to other things but im waiting for the rims first. Oh yeah im down to 600 now cause I have to pay a ticket for an accident i was sighted in.

Phreakd, just curious, but what finish are your rims? I'm looking for a dark rim without necessarily going black...
