i did a search which as usual turned up little to nothing. either way. i bought 114x3 18x8's with an offset of 40 (if it helps). my question is will 225/45/18 tires fit without rubbing? i plan on lowering with tein springs. or would 215/45/18's be a better fit?

225 should be fine, I have 235's with the same offset, its close but it works, although my wheels are 18x7.5.
