wheel offset

Hey guys,

just posting because I am stuck between two wheels and I am not sure what to get. (My other wheel deal fell through for the better)

What I know I want: 5 spoke design in 19" and 19" only with a smooth clean appearance, (more luxury than performance). Narrowed down to two wheels.

1. ALT Wraith (AT-326): http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com/cu ... -326.shtml

I saw indigo solaras thread on the wheel offsets and I just wanted to confirm to see if the wheel would fit my car: 19 x 8 45 offset 5 x 114.3 right??????
What size tire would be preffered for that set up?????: car is lowered, kit.

2. Speedy Legend: Absolutely love this wheel!!!!!!! would not have even posted however I just wanted to know if anyone has ever dealt with that brand before. Good Quality??? It is even cheaper per wheel than the alt's yet then again; I have heard of the alt's, the speedy's are a different story. (which is why they may be cheaper.)

Sorry for the long post guy's it is just my first set of wheels and I would like for it to run smoothly the first time rather than the 2nd or 3rd :D

The tires you will need for that will seriously have to be very low profile.

19x8 you need a 40 offset. 45 offset will rub in the rear against the struts. You can use a 5mm spacer in the rear to push it out away from the struts. Remember the lower the offset the farther out it sits.

Tires you would need at least 225/35/19 or to be safe run 235/35/19. 235 series would give you a little more rubber to protect the wheels.

Do NOT run 225/ or 235/ 40/19's. You will have rubbing issues. Trust me I tried. Also this will put your wheel diameter bigger than stock and will throw off your Speedo.

the closes tire size to stock with 19's is 235/35/19.

Hope this helps.
