Gauging Interest In Flywheels and Pulleys

Gauging Interest In Flywheels and Pulleys

Postby Sportivo Concepts » Tue May 23, 2006 1:26 am

It has been awhile since we introduce anything new, but with our new Motorsports Campaign for 07, we have to share the wealth to to speak and offer our Stage 1 Pulleys and Flywheels that we use in both of our cars that we race with. This will be the first time we offer any of our racing applications to the public if enough interest arise from it, it could lead us to consider other applications we have developed to be mass produce for the general public. Right now we are offering our Stage 1 Pulleys and Flywheels for the 1MZ and 5SFE engines both which we have used successfully for the past 5 years racing in road racing events, auto-x and other venues.

Both have been co-designed by Sportivo Concepts Motorsports and Bootlegger Racing and is CNC machined from 6061 T6 Billet Aluminum. This allows them to be lighter but at the same time stronger than OEM steel parts.

I am currently using both of these on my daily drive which is an ES 300 since 03.

To do either group buy 10 ppl are needed for that particular group buy.

Stage 1 Crank Pulleys:
Our Crank Pulleys creates 10-20 % more power through the rpm range by providing more torque as well as hp by loosing as much weight as possible at the crank where you will find. It is made of CNC machined Billet Aluminum, which means it is lighter than OEM, but at the same time stronger giving back the some power that has been lost due to other things.

Stage 1 Alum Flywheels: (Only for the 1MZ)
Our lighweight flywheels reduce the amount of weight that is used to drive your wheels while at the same time the lighter weight allows you to get into your power band faster, by rletting the engine rev faster for quicker starts and more power to the wheels.

parts

Postby trd4life » Tue May 23, 2006 5:39 am

There is a company that already makes both of these items so you will have some competition. Depends on your price.

Do you sell just the crank pulley or all the pullies in a kit?

thanks

Well for the 1MZFE; URD needs about 10 people for a GB on it to start again, i already asked them.....

But i'm interested in a Crank Pulley kit and and other stuff to gain more HP.

Right now just the crank pulley, but we are ready to if there is demand to produce a whole kit, all we have to do is prep the machines and give it the specs from our CAD rendering. Like I said in my orginal post, depending on interest, we will mass produce either in limited quanties or on a regular basis performance parts that we have used and currently are using in our own cars.

Most likely each part or parts will be introduced as GBs or on a limited run just to guage how things are.

I am working on he prices now, as for my history, gonna make it short you can ask arounf Toyota nation as they can tell ya about me.

Me and my Partner started T-Tuning Customs and T-Tuning Racing in Kyoto Japan in Feb of 96 as a way to supplement our dealership and parts store there. At that time we were racing a 95 Scepter Coupe throughout Japan in road races and other events. In 1998 with th success we was having, we split the team into two divisons, the Japan divison and the US division and offically changed the name to Sportivo Concepts in 01.

Upon entering the US racing scene we have raced in various events throughout the US Mexico and Latin America. Along with bringing over the racing team, we become an importer of JP and AU cars and parts.

Our headquarters for the Sportivo Concepts Spotorsports is located in Volusia county which is in Central FL, while out importing business is headquatered in Phila and our manufacturing division is in Long Island, NY.

1848 Media Group is the parent company of Sportivo Concepts, and Sportivo Concepts Motorsports which is also headquaterd in both Long Island and Volusia County.

I am the sole driver of the Sportivo Concepts Motorsports vehicles, and will be hiring a new driver for our hopeful introduction to CORR in 08 and another driver to take my place once we leap into Speed GT and Speed Touring Car. We have worked closley with some great names in SCCA racing as well as Toyota Motorsports and TRD to help develop our program.

Well to make it brief I'll end it there, but hopefully you get the jist of our background.

What do you guys consider a good price for the a) Pulleys, and b) Flywheels.

I am willing to workout a good price, for this GB, as I am offering this here first before I go to TN, as I know SG members actually follow through unlike other sites I know, when majority of the members just talk the talk and everything is too expensive for them even iif it like way under what it normally retails.
