3-4 hours when smooth you must have s-afc to properly run this setup, or you will run extremely lean, and the knock sensors will retard the timing severly.

Please explain

Running a stock 4psi pulley and headers/y-pipe/exhaust how could the headers/y-pipe change the A/F so drastically as to warrant the S-AFC? If this is true Im going to have to wait 50,000 more miles till my warranty is over before I get the headers. Jon.

Possibility

Probably your Injen is helping it to lean out. I'd like to see results on the aforementioned 4psi S/Cd Solara with the headers/y-pipe and cat-back. Probably it wouldn't run lean. Jon.

Danny,

How much the headers and Y-pipe cost you?
Do you have to give your own Y-pipe and headers?

Generaly when you free up the intake or exhaust it leans out the mixture. Ron has a y-pipe and intake with 5.5psi and Area51 needed to use his Afc to take out fuel where as my car needed the Afc to add fuel. Bottom line is every car is different and running lean with a s/c is bad. I'm a firm believer in at least checking your a/f mixture to see where your at.

Eric

No, it will do the opposite on an N/A. The MAF will read more flow therefore compensating my richening the mixture.
