I'd love to hear which wheels you all think would look best on a 99' black Solara SLE with the Tokico/Eibach combo currently installed. They will be 18's. These are what I'm considering:

I haven't been able to find any Solara's with Blatant's but I think they may look nice together. However, jmsinmaryland has several pics of silver Verdicts on his silver Solara...looks very nice. They can be seen here: http://www.pbase.com/jmsinmd/trd_solara

Those look great, but I am not sure what color Opal is for example. Both of those wheels made by Konig right?...

Ok found them.

Blatant Opal all the way! Well, I think Opal is the best color, but I don't like chrome at all. :P

Lol

Doug,
Lol, and you didnt believe me when I said the Blatants look good. The only other rims I would consider on my car is the Racing Hart Evolution Z5000 and the Konig Blatants. The Konig silver matches the Solara silver very well. I don't like completely black rims on cars (it looks like steel wheels to me, except maybe on a yellow car), so I think the Blatants in Opal would look great. Chrome Blatants would also look good on black. Jon. ps. remember 18x7.5 with 45 offset and 225/40 18. I personally recommend Pirelli P7000 Super Sports (all season high performance with a 320 AA tread rating and a 40,000 mileage warranty).

Blatant! either silver or opal is my vote.
40-42 offset is better than 45 imo.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, JMSinMaryland  I'm stuck between the Verdicts and Blantants still. I agree with everyone that the Blatant Opals look great, but the weird thing is I think they look better by themselves and I'm not quite sure what my opinion of them is on a car. Here's a few Celica's and a Maxima with the Blatants:

I wish I could see what they looked like on a Solara...I'll try to see if I can cut and paste some pics of them onto a Solara. This oughta be fun...

Thanks for all the votes/input everyone-

Allright...I need some help here! I've looked at so many damn wheels I've lost my mind. I was set up to get the Blatants next weekend but then saw these and they look awesome. What do you all think??? Again, I have a black 99 SLE with the Tokico/Eibach combo and am going with 18s.

Just make sure you get a nice set of Yokohama AVS ES100's or Michelin Pilot Sport A/S with your purchase. The AVS ES100's are the best bang for the buck in performance tires.

No I was never able to find any...but they are sharp looking wheels. I just don't know how good they'd look on a Solara. I'm going to the wheels this Sunday...just need to decide which one's now :-?

Both the Konig Verdict & Blatant Opal look great. I love the way JMSinMarylands looks...I'm leaning towards the Verdict Opals. I think they fit the Solara better.

don't go for either wheel. why does everybody always want verdicts? i think the majority of owners on here have verdicts or tantrums. i think they're kind of played out. sort of like the racing hart c2's when they hit the market several years back. every mofo had those. if you had to pick between the two, go for the blatants. if you really wanna be cool, get them in 19s. there's a huge difference in appearance between the two sizes even though it's only an inch. i plan on getting a set of rims from modern image(yes, they do make a line of wheels now). go to their website (www.modernimagewheels.com) and check out the m-3 STANCE. i wanna get the ones in carbon black with a polished lip in 19s. if yall like what yall see, please don't jock it. i'd hate to see a solara with them before me. that's my 2 cents
