Good News??? I Hope!!!!!

Postby x99xsolarax » Thu Nov 23, 2006 2:00 pm

Well last nite i was talking with my bro on the phone while i was playing video game on my PS2. He was surfing the net for body kits ect. for the hell of it. Well he came across Kaminari. I've heard of them for a while now, and i also know some of the kits they produce are often really nice. (visual and quality) Well he said something that shocked me, he said they had a Lip Kit for 99-03 Solara that was NEW!!!! Lip Kit?!?!? i was like...WTF??? TRD Lip Kit?? he wasn't sure (he never seen the TRD Lips for solara yet) So i stop what i was doing, ran to my PC, went straight to the site, and tears almost fell....(lol seriously i was this happy) no not a knock off i don't think...Urethane, 7 pcs, $895.00 List price. Not sure but i think the TRD kit was more spendier...(correct me if im wrong) but i guess u can decide if this Lip Kit is good or not...all i know is that its probably good enough for me.... :D
Hopefully that was good news for most of us who doesn't have the Kit yet!!! :bday:

kaminari did the same thing for IS300 bodykit. They brought them off from area 51 after it is out of business.

900 dollars for brand new polyurethane kit, not bad.

You cannot buy this kit directly though kaminari rather through their distributors. Careful with who you buy this kit from, u could end up buying a knock off. Get the kit from Island and ask for matt. Tell him Tracy referred you.

A couple "G's" for tooling? That's SQUAT! (At least, as an automotive industry insider....)

Anyway... the kit looks SMOKIN'! Hope it works out...

where you at? I'm in the northland as well. But, I wouldnt worry about putting this on in the winter, they keep the roads cleared pretty good...unless you are way up north of the cities.

I'm in St. Paul. I mean its not bad bad here, but ive seen bad snow days...just don't wanna buy, slap it on, and lose a lip or two to the snow. i knew a few ppls who lost their lip kits like that. lol sad more or less its just for safety that i wait till it clears out... :P
