get either Viper, Clifford, DEI ,Python there all the same company. I prefer Viper 7900XV great system with alot off add on features. Also I would recommend having it professionally installed to save you some head aches and problems if any occur.. Do some research Google it first you cant relay on a forum to feed it to you

I have a Viper alarm that was installed by my buddies back when i used to work at Circuit City. 2 way pager, sensor, and some other goodies. works awesome :) enough said, at least on my part.

But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

But what are you loooking for in an alarm/ remote start ?? What are you planing to do ? Where do you live ? ( ?high risk theft area? ) Ect things that you might keep into consideration when buy a system. also you will have to give up one of your keys if you have a transponder

not if you get a DEI 555X module. make sure whoever you are going to that they have this module instead of the 555U (which you DO have to sacrifice a key).

also, Excalibur alarms are not well-known for their remote starts. i haven't even run into any of our customers with one yet. DEI's Clifford/Viper remote start systems are quality proven products. i've installed a few different remote start systems and i've never had a Clifford/Viper system come back to troubleshoot.

remotes

Postby Fastlane051 » Tue Mar 20, 2007 2:05 pm

Oh well I think Im gonna get an excaliber one anways....I decided not to get the remote start for money purposes...its 100 more but i really want to start saving for a lip kit as soon as possible.

The excalibur alarm im gettin has a life time warrenty on it. It has a 2 way pager remote that has 2 extra buttons on the side. I think its gonna do well for now. I have graduatiuon coming up soon so I wanna be able to get a lip kit with all my graduation money.

I might get a better alarm later...
