I did a search for it but didnt come up with any conclusive info that i wanted.

So im about to recieve a Injen intake + extension.

I was talking to another member on here and he said the Stock Box + K&N drop in is better...

I already have the K&N drop in filter in my stock box as of rite now, its alright but i thought the Injen + extension work better.

Either way im still purchasing the Injen + extension intake, but i just wanted some other people's opinions on this as well.

anyone have any comments about their intake?

i like mine....don't think the CEL was ever a problem for me even with the supra MAF. As a note however, the extension requires a little angleing. I didn't have to cut any metal, but I did have to bend a piece of metal so there was enough clearance for the extension. Easy enough to bend with your hand, but ended up scratching the pipe. No biggy, can't hardly see it anyway.

Diffusing some misinformation.

1) You will not get CEL from CA extension.
2) You do not need to cut anything to put on the extension.

my bad, from all of the posts I have read it stated you would have a cel from the injen intake... obviously the extension itself would not cause the cel, its a piece of metal...

No, not typically.

I know I've read that a HANDFUL of people have gotten a CEL, but it is still very unlikely.

Only if you don't install it correctly or the hoses/couplers are loose, or you don't plug in a sensor, you may trip a CEL.
