Questions on getting an Injen CAI

Ok, so I want to get an Injen CAI as my first mod. Found a site online that seems to have the best price I've come across. The link is below

Now, does that look like what I need? Are they the same for the auto and the 5 speed? And, will that just be the short ram or will the extension be included? Even if its not seems like a good deal and I guess I could buy the extension later. Just hard to get accurate info on the product so figured maybe some more knowledgeable people might have some input.

that is not a CAI, it is a SRI.

that price is very good, I dont think I have ever seen a brand new one that cheap!

5 spd and auto are the same, as long as you have the proper intake for your engine.

Unless you make your own extension, the only way you will find one will be from another member, and expect to pay between $75-$100 just for the extension.

RJ at UPFD sold a bunch of them to us. He also manufactured the extensions. However, he has since turned shady and no longer works at upfd.

I would try to buy from the online store rather than ebay...just seems to be a little safer nowadays.

nah, he was great when he was selling the intakes but all of a sudden things changed after that. Hmm, this probably happened a couple years ago.

I got my injen short ram from a member here and was also lucky enough to pick up the upfd extension from another member...all and all for around $225 total which was a great deal. I'd recommend trying to find one used, you'll save so much and it really doesn't make a difference in the end at all.

I'll also reinforce it...stay away from RJ at UPFD...huge, huge scumbag...ripped me off on a exhaust system for $500.

the extension is easy you just need some straight piece with a single 90 degree bend look on ebay for an intake and cut it to fit.

damn, I busted my ass to complete that setup for you, why dont you just keep it? you need to install it first before you decide you dont want it.

Just another thing to add, I see you can get it in black or polished finish. Would black conduct less heat than polished?
