Postby SolAraB » Thu Jun 21, 2007 10:37 am

So i bought the kit from the group buy we had here not too long ago.......the kit was brand new out of the box obviously ......but i couldnt get them to work....so i finally kinda figured out the problem......everytime i go to power up the hids the low beam headlight fuses blow....... Everything is connected right...... the only thing that i could possibly think of is the extra plug the kit comes with that does absolutely nothing.......... any ideas? :(

here are some pics

I don't know how you have them wired up, but you need to use the wiring that came with the kit. When I installed my kit, it used power from the drivers side h4 headlight bulb and then ran a new harness over to the passenger side harness. My OEM passneger harness is taped off and not being used. If you used the OEM harness on the passenger side, I could see why there is problems. (I can't get the pix to work to see what was done)
