Come on!!! :D Im curious how those gauges turned out with the nail polish. You should do your radio and climate control too.

Depending on the nail polish, mine turned out:

Curious to see what these ones will look like, and what the most popular nail polish will turn out to be :D (cause Solaras aren't already stereotyped as girly cars without adding nail polish to the mix haha)

I painted the actual bulbs. There was a lot of concern posted by people about temperatures, and I gotta say, I worried about it too in the beginning. The thing that made me change my mind and think it's safe is the fact that there was little rubber covers on all the bulbs anyway, and I touched and held a bulb that was on for 20 min constantly. Wasn't that hot at all.
I finished the rest of the car today, did the climate control and the lighted key ring. It looks fantastic imo, with just the gauges red and everything else stock green, it looked a bit ricey and stupid, but now it looks soooo clean, I love it. The only green thing left is the factory deck, and I'll be getting an aftermarket deck soon anyway, so I'll try to get one with a red backlight. Pics coming soon.
