5.5 lbs of boost is with the stock pulley. 6.5 boost with an aftermarket 2.75 pulley.

2nd question: nope

Stock is 4psi. If you see anything over it's called manifold backpressure. Aftermarket...safest is 6psi...anything greater...you're kinda playing with fire unless you work with the fuel system.

Only for the 4cyl...Rippmods S/C for the 5S-FE and Turbo Performance kit for the same engine. Nothing for the 2AZ-FE or 1MZ-FE unless you go custom.

Depends whether you have auto or 5spd.

Auto will get anywhere from 200-210
5spd will get 220-230

You won't find many guys with manual who have 6psi but I do know a few who have 5 or higher.

Steve (str8pyp) has 5 psi and hit 252whp, 240ft. lbs. torque
More info on his car is available here: http://www.schung07.com/performance.aspx

Most guys are around 240-250 at 5-5.5PSI. I believe Ericsol was seeing the low 240s but now that he has headers, ypipe and a hiflow cat he hit 273.

With simple mods you can see 250fwhp easy on the 5spd. (Exhaust, S-AFC and SC)

You are probably looking at about 240 or greater with the 2.75. With automatic tranny, expect way less than that. I don't recall who has dynosheets with the 2.75 in.

dangerous enough that you could potentially blow your knock sensors. (info courtesy of Ryan)

You should be safe...but if you're running california 91 octane...you're at a greater risk of blowing your knock sensoers. I'd stick to anything closest to stock size pulley if you don't want to run into greater risks.

A 2.8" pulley will get you 6 psi, so you're looking at around 6.25 psi with a 2.75" pulley. You'll probably be OK with it unless you're in CA and stuck with 91 octane gas. If you don't have an upgraded exhaust system already, that would probably be a good investment, as it would help power and eliminate some backpressure. At that boost level, you'll be right at the safety margin, so anything that will help you prevent detonation is a good thing.

I have a 5.5 psi pulley, and dynoed at 247 fwhp and 236 lb/ft. I have also been having trouble with my #2 knock sensor and will probably have to have it replaced.
