I didnt know the '99 solara v6 sle's had stock resonaters on there, i put a muffler and cat on there and its sorta quiet, i just found out that a resonator is on there, DEF. gettin that crap cut off and a new down pipe put on there to the muffler, hopefully thatll sounds way louder and meaner

...Uhh, why? Personally I think cars that are really loud are way too obnoxious. Honestly? It makes me think that the driver's compensating for a certain physical shortcoming.

my opinion is prob different from a lot others but if my car is really quiet stock I would keep it that way and not change it. There are a lot of cars in my neighborhood that have a aftermarket exhaust and it is annoying to hear.

Also the type of exhaust you have contributes if it sounds good or not.
Like a straight mid-pipe for the Greddy Evo exhaust sounds really good.
"Castro" has it on his Camry and it sounds really goo, IMO.

well.....its just quieting it down and i dont like that, i dnt want a pussy sounding car, BUT i dnt want a loud ass obnoxious car that just sounds stupid, i want a little meanness
