Installing boost and A/F gauges

Postby Yanks0114 » Thu May 01, 2003 6:29 pm

Any advice before I install the gauges. I took car of the boost port connection hitting the strut tower brace :D I'll post some pics of that.

Where do I connect the A/F to?

Also any ideas on how to mold to gauge pod onto my a-pillar and where should i get paint to match it?

It's only when reversing tho. so not a big deal imo.

I put some more washers to sit the strut bar higher.

I did that too, i just went to the store and bought some extra washers and now my strut bar doesn't hit the boost port fitting at all.

Yanks, about your other question about the gauges, i just posted a response in previous post that may answer some of your questions, it's the post about the a-pillar and gauges

Hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know, i'll try to help as best i can.

Oh by the way Arief, hows your car doing? I actually saw a solara in my work parking lot last week that was the same color as your car, that's the only other one i have ever seen, thing is it had texas plates on it, hmm maybe that color is only available in texas.

Nice, i'm working on getting the trd body kit and a new dvd/cd/mp3 headunit this month to complement my in dash screen. 19's huh, what kind? About the RSB, i use to have to relube mine every few weeks because of the squeek they made, but one day i took someone's advice and wrapped the bar with some plumber/teflon tape and regreased, that was over 6 months ago and still no squeek, but now my strut mounts need to be replaced, oh well, got rid of one noise only to gain another more annoying noise.

Hey Yanks so how did you solve the boost fitting and the strut bar problem? Washers to raise the bar?
