my situation..
i got a 2000 solara automatic.. i got injen intake,tanabe g power exhuast, supercharger, recently got 5.5 pulley and s-afc(not installed yet) anywho.. my transmisson is messed up so i need a new transmisson.. i could take it to the toyota dealer and get a new on or is it wise to convert to manaul at this time? and oh yah what would be best mod i could do next to make my car faster...i have about 1.5gs to spend on my car, anyone have any ideas.

dont bother with the headache to swap auto-manu conversion. it will cost more than a puny 1.5g... invest in some rims or something.

how'd you "mess up" your tranny?

well i gave it to the dealer to do a 30000mile tune up and they didnt change my transmission oil and now im at about 48000miles and i thought i was running on new tranny fuild but realy i wasnt and it was just to bad fuild and one day my tranny overheated..and yah its messed up now...yah well i have rims the tsw revos..i also have the trd kit..lowersprings..i was just thinking what i could spend my 1.5gs on to make me go faster... im in neeed of some vroom vroom

yeah, i suggest headers also. since u have s/c it'll give you about 30hp according to jp performance.

I suggest the TRD Shortshifter...best bang for the buck for your Camry/Solara...if you have a manual that is. heh heh heh. :evilbat:
