Well if I drive my car, and keep it under 4thousand RPM's . I have no problems but as soon as I get over 4 I hear this tinny nose, which set off my CEL, I cant seem to find out where it comes from, does anyone else have this problem, I do have a 6PSI pulley, So I know that is one of my problems. What could be making that nosie, under full boost?

do you mean "noise"?

perhaps it is your s/c winding up. what else do you have for your aid of the s/c?

does your cel always come on if you go past 4krpm?

Can you describe the noise any better? It may be detonation, which would set off the CEL if the knock sensors couldn't compensate for it. What is your altitude and what octane gas do you run? How hot is it outside?

Ya, I mean noise, I live in South FL. It's hot lately its been 85 to 90 degrees. I always run 93 octane sometimes I mix it with 100 octane when I have the extra cash. Is there anyway to advance the timing or would I want to retard the timing?
To me the noise sounds like aluminum pinging, I dont know I should go to toyota and find out what's wrong with it.

You may want to back down the boost. Try it at 4PSI and see if the problem goes away. If it does, that pretty much tells you that you are running too much boost for your altitude, temperature, and gasoline octane.

In the meantime, try a different brand of gasoline.
