I'm debating to pamper my solara when I get my next oil change after i finish my road trip and vacation to anahiem, cali from phx, az and back. Estimated trip is about 800miles. Staying there for the 4th of july events for Anime Expo. Plus finished up my 2yr college degree so its my graduation present for myself.

Anyways to get to the bottom line of things, i want to switch out the stock air filter or the air box itself to something more interesting to maybe improve performance and gas mileage. I'm debating to get the TRD filter for my solara or else an aftermarket intake. Its been awhile to seek out which aftermarket intake is best for a 4cyl engine model solara but I wouldn't mind just sticking with the standard air box with a better filter. The side issue is that in PHX, AZ when it rains, certain streets become a river and when a low profile car tries to go in well, an airbox solution sounds more reliable although it only occurs in the late winter/early spring time when it tends to pour like crazy.

Solutions Plz? And please don't make me search the forum so much. just lay it down nice and fast. :P Just wanna avoid the quarrels :agrue: Thank you!!!!

For your situation and almost every other other just get a K&N or TRD filter.
