Hey Guys,

I was wondering if any of you guyz could tell me if i should get a camber kit for my 99 solara. b/c im getting 18's and lowering my car with eibach springs. Do I really need the camber kit? and if i do what brand is good for the solara..........

You shouldn't need one.

Just do an alignment.

our cars do NOT need camber correction kits regaurdless of what any mechanic tells you

If you have heavy stereo in the trunk, then you do have negative cambe in the rear. The shop charge me $40 dollars each side to modify the rear axle carrier. There are two bolts connect the rear shock to the wheel hub. They make the bolt hole from this shape ( ) to this shape (______), so you can adjust the camber. for me 80 dollars is better then $200 camber kit or unevent wear

Shox.com has them for around $50... ask for Daryl...

But I just got an alignment after i let my springs settle in... the guy said i didnt need any camber adjustment... its fine!! :D

I know that I asked this 6 months ago (hint). I did a 1.8 drop w/o one and everything is peachy. Tyres are not showing and uneven wear, and the car drives good and strait.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.
