While driving the Solara i notice that when cornering if you hapen to hit a bump or uneven pavement that the car starts to bounce. Will upgrade with shocks fix this?

yea stiffer struts will fix this... I don't know if they make stock ride height struts though... but you can check Bilstein and Tokico

i think you mean stock ride height springs!
you can use whatever springs you want with aftermarket struts, even the OEM ones.[/b]

oh i thought springs were more for ride height adjustments and the shocks created the stiffer ride depending on the length/stiffness... my bad =x

What you are speaking of is characteristic of the stock suspension. It has its limitations. You'll notice the floating feeling at higher speeds if you go over a bump.

Get aftermarket struts and I'd go for the aftermarket springs also. (Tokico/Eibach)

The ride feels much more stable at high speeds and great improves the cornering
