car has trd springs and trd struts

my dealer wants to replace the strut tops on my car to see if the clunking will go away(only comin from driver side front), they also want to do a strut alignment. has anyone gotten this done???

The strut mount is responsible for the noise; but even if you replace it, the sound will come back soon.
