I've been trying to figure out the simplest way to run my battery cable through my firewall, have done it before to previous cars but am having trouble on this one. I'd prefer to use the drivers side, and also not to drill a hole, but if needed and no other option i will. Pictures would be awesome. Thanks

passenger side has a big grommet. i think you have to drill on the drivers side. i went underneath on the drivers side and drilled a hole next to the sunroof tube in the side well of the trunk.

i just ran a 4 gauge through a small hole above steering column on driver side

it is very small but its there...you will need to cut through the rubber on opposite side underneath steering wheel a bit
if you cant find it...i will post pics (i could be wrong about this hole being there on all solaras though)

i will post pic in a few
