Home Made Intake

So I was in pep boys today, I want to duplicate this.

viewtopic.php?f=55&t=50107&p=587784#p587784

then there was a thread (I searched!) that said the gen 1 was different located here

viewtopic.php?f=20&t=50290&p=590106&hilit=maf+sensor#p590106

So to clarify. If I remove my resonator and place it on the 6" tubing (drill hole for it) that is the ONLY hole I need correct? The other smaller two sensor holes? are not for gen 1.

Why do u want to keep your silencer (resonator?)?

You're prolly better off just buying the Injen or OBX brand short ram intake.

As far as how many holes you need for tubing, look under your hood at your stock intake for an easy answer to that question. I believe there is one that you DON'T need at all. Not sure how to describe which one it is.

thanks for the reply, sorry i DO NOT want the resonator, but all it is is getting the MAF extension, and sticking w.e tubes i need back into the intake right? haha. I calculated all the tubing and couplings, turned out to be right around $30 which is nice. CAn't find OBX on ebay anymore.
