Hey,

I wanted to know if you guys had any advice on buying rims. I want some new rims on my solara, but I dont want to spend more than $500. Is there anything good out there?

Thanks in advance

u'll be able to buy knock off wheels for <$500... I would shop around first... see what u like and reconsider ur wheel funds

IF you have to stick w/ that tho... check out konig, xxr, possibly tsw or discontinued enkei's lol

Used, craigslist... lotsa "hot" property for cheap. Just don't get burned by the hotness.
Are you certain you want new wheels? Or used ok? Are you looking for lightweight? Or bling?

It depends on what size you want. I've been searching for months on mine. Planning on still using 16 inch wheels(I'm riding them for the comfort). Even if youre not gonna plus size, There's alot of decent ones to choose from. There's good ones are tirerack. Stay away from Voxx and some MB wheels, i've read alot of negative reviews on them. And also dont buy wheels that are too light. The wheels i'm looking atm are about 2-3 pounds less than the stock wheels. Also consider the installation costs in your budget. It'll be about 50-60 in total if you wanna do it right...unless youre gonna do them yourself XD

If you're looking for value, keep an eye on craiglist for wheel-and-tire combos.

^yup bolt pattern has to be 5x114.3
if your looking for somthing nice and flush i would prefer 17x8.5 with at least a +25 offset or an 18x8.5

Back around christmas time I saw someone selling a set of TRD 18" 10 spoke rims for $350 without tires on Craigslist in my area. So its doable you just have to keep an eye out. I should have jumped on that back then, but I didn't really need them.
