Some guy also told me my trd supercharger wouldn't fit

So they're already on the car and you aren't having any issues? Have you driven it? The only thing I can think of is spacers on the rear depending on the wheel offset. You should have plenty of room up front. Clamps on the shocks....wtf? NEVER heard of anything like that. Maybe he meant springs, but I still don't see what that's supposed to accomplish since the only clamps I know of are spring compressors used when changing shocks/struts

I think you need to stop listening to this guy Wizzy. Change that guy for a Solara guy.

dude the offset of those wheels are rubbing your strut probably. I think they are about 50 or 55. You need a spacer to run those Lexus wheels in the rear. Check out the thread on offset in the tutorial section. I've been there done that. lol

You definitely need spacers in the rear. Front seems fine, what's the issue.

^x2 I had 18's on my car. the rear right would hit the strut on certain dips or bumps. So spacers most likely in the rear.

TIME TO BRING THIS THRREAD BACK TO LIFE..
this is an old thread but blah..
those for one are not lexus rims. theyre toyota highlander hybrid rims. 19" to be exact. you WILL need front spacers. i know this for a fact because my friend has a gray solara with them same rims. i have the venzas on my solara and needed fronts as well

i would say hub centric ones, on Japanese cars they shake around 70+ MHP .

If the front is not rubbing he doesnt need spacers. The front on our cars always has a lot more room than you have in the rear. I used to rub when i had my 17x7.5 with a +45 offset on the strut. 5 mm spacers handled that. Then the stance movement came in.

For everyone: if you dont want to rub go with a good offset that wont leave your wheel way the hell inside! get something with a lower offset that will give you good clearance on the strut!
