2AZ-FE Headers UPDATE!!!

2AZ-FE Headers UPDATE!!!

Postby i20solara02i » Mon Jan 05, 2004 4:01 pm

Jeff and I visited JP Performance today. We have GRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEAT news! We can rape the 1MZ =D since they had no room to do a better job (although it's a pretty damn good job) and get higher gains (like on the 1ZZ).

The ridiculous amount of space where our manifold is right now give them the ability to raise HIGH END power AND ALSO LOW END TORQUE! WOoOooOOoOO! Since we have so much extra room, they can do it easier and faster with DYNO PROVEN gains.

He said they would run about $450 for the first people that jump on the deal. A $150 non-refundable deposit is need upfront. The remaining $300 balance will be due upon delivery of the product. The price after the first few will be higher. NOTE: 450 is the ROUGH estimate. If we get more buyers for the first 'wave', the price may be reduced!

10 buyers are needed. So far, we have 3 definate buyers (myself, Mark, and Jeff).

PM me and xravexboix with any questions or concerns.

We'll get more peopel in on this when the Scion TC is released for sale (2AZ) if the engine is mounted similarly. Since the engine bay for the 2AZ is so empty, Jose had a HUGE smile =D Big high end HP gain w/o compromising low end torque =D

If all goes well with this, custom turbo here I come =] (this upcoming summer)

Hey jeff for a custom turbo, since we have a auto do you think we will get a good gain from it??? i mean i dont mean to burst any bubbles or anything but i was thinking if its worth it or not for our cars... i would have no doubt doing this if we had a manual...

PLEEASE re-word that. it sounds like you are saying the 2az will outrun the 1mz.

let alone if all goes well, we'll have a run. :P

hey guys i just wanted to get my 2 cents in on this. get ur deposits in asap because i believe jpp will have time in about 2 weeks to begin the project. this place is very busy and the longer you wait he might not have time to get this done for awhile. also he is very well known around these forums and is known to make GREAT HEADERS. this guy is also very nice and easy to deal with. he even installed my tanabe exhaust for free on my car.

also for the guys who are scared to put down money up front. this guy won't make a header that doesn't produce gains. he dyno's everything to make sure it makes the right gains at the right places. also if u guys put money up front and decide when its done u don't want it i'm sure it won't be hard to sell ur spot to someone else.
