I dont think anyones selling any aftermarket headlights for the Solara.

I'm itching to get me some projectors, but no one makes them as far as I know. I know one guy made projectors on his Gen1 for himself, and I think they were black-housed, but I've completely forgot where I saw it.

Im sure alot of people here would be in if we could get some black-housed projectors made. Theres a business idea...anybody?

Yeah I bought some cheap A$$ clear corners on from someone here and they appeared to be opened and "sealed" back and they took the great flood!! When I took them off and tipped them to the side, Niagra Falls was at my front poarch! Since then I put my stock corners back on and rather have a orange relector then some water filled blur corners. So yeah condensation = Biyyyaaaach!!! :drinking:

removing the headlight assembly was the easy part. well actually none of it was hard. and the only tools i needed were a heat gun and a flat screw driver.

How exactly did you use the heat gun?.....did it melt the sealant?........did you have to use silicone to re-seal?

So heat them open?

Spray with nightshades inside the headlights?

Then seal back up really well?

On another board I heard a better darking mixture is 30 percent black paint and 70 percent clear coat. It's more of a professional night shades.
