Injen CAI sound

Injen CAI sound

Hey for all of you who installed the Injen intake with the extension, do any of you hear the intake more when you start up the car after it has been parked for a long time (like over night) or did I just install mine incorrectly. After the car warms up and has been working for a while I don't hear it anymore, but when I just start it up after it has been resting for a long time it makes almost a sort of whistling sound, like there is an air leak?

Thanks

Thats normal. It'd also make that sound w/o the extension.

Yea that's pretty normal. When the car is first started up after not being in use for awhile, the engine idles fairly higher than usual. I like the sucking sound that the intake makes . . . pretty cool. I have a short ram Injen intake with a Blitz mesh filter. Sucka is pretty loud too. Peace.

Yup. With the supercharger it sounds like a blow-off valve from a turbo when the car is just started.
