Hello guys

I'm not in the market for rims....YET

probably a few months after summer...that's when i'll act. Are these pretty good? tires and rims and mounting and balancing for 600 bucks? I'm loving what I see!

17 inch is a good choice for me because I can't afford to add anymore weight to my car...it's a 5sfe lol

anyway, any feedback would be much appreciated

um...I hope this is the right section to post in...if not, please don't flame me...haha

God bless

Tires

Postby jim@foreignaffairs » Tue May 25, 2004 4:03 pm

I would want to know what kind of tires these are, and I have never heard of these wheels. ANY HIGH QUALITY tire costs at least $589 a set so I guess the wheels are free! Anyway you get what you pay for. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. My quess is these wheels are crap and the tires are crap.

I'd question who VRD is, never heard of them.

It really depends on what brand you are looking for now.
you seem to prefer the gunmetal/polish lip look so all you have to find now is a brand.

as for $1k it's do able, but w/ a higher budget you're open to more selections. just save up and count how much you will have by summer.

ebay has some great deals.... brand new 18" konig for approx $500, ADR for around $300, usually without tires. Many are sold by dealers with high ratings too. Thats where I'm gonna get mine from!

I'm getting 18" ADR's for $500 and then Nitto ZR rated tires for another $550. I probably could of gotten a better deal on some other rims but I really love the rims I'm getting.
