w00t w00t! i got that stuff workin! hahahahahahha...im so happy. i'll get pictures tomorrow. sounds great, but i need dynamat. i got mad vibrations in the back. any suggestions on whether to get original or extreme? and how much should i get?

how much do i need? should i get it for my whole door panel or just the speaker kit? and for the rear, how much do i need for the 6x9s? should i do the trunk too? or will the rear deck be enough?

The more dynamat the better. My whole trunk was done with xtreme and it helped so much. If you feel like stripping off the door panels then dynamat that all. Check ebay for bulk pricing. Not only does it stop vibrations it also dampens road noise. Great stuff

I had 2 12" Kicker comp VRs with a Kicker impulse 405d (5channel) amp in my celica. I got some of the mid level dynymat in my trunk, and it didn't make a difference

I say find the rattle and reinforce it, dynamat is to heavy and in MY OPINION a waste of money.

ICUFG, I agree. There are other products that you can get from Home Depot (roofing material) that are a lot cheaper, and work as well as dynamat.

There is some stuff called peal and seal. Home depot maybe. I heard that works good, plus stuff called second skin. Check out www.sounddomain.com and www.caraudio.com

so has anyone tried the home depot stuff and dynamat xtreme? can you tell me for sure the home depot stuff is better?

as for pictures, i realized i cant take any because all the speakers are in my stock grills. i'll take pictures of my amp and my battery.... hehe. and i'll take pictures for you guys when i install the dynamat or hd stuff

The guys on rec.audio.car swear by it. I haven't used it, but I've been told it's cheaper and about the same weight and quality as dynamat. I don't know about xtreme.
