My lights just came in today. My first impression is they look great but the headlight feels like it has a plastic lens. My car isn't here but isn't the stock headlight glass? With this one being plastic, it seems like it won't take too many highway trips to start messing these up with scratches and stuff. Just my opinion but they do look nice for now. -JoeB

Im with JS...they are all plastic, just a high impact type of plastic...like abs plastic. If they get scratched or pitted, refer to my signature :)

I thought the same, but it they both are about the same. When I flicked on both, they give the same sound. I'm pretty sure the stock lights aren't glass.

I finally got my car Friday and put the new black headlights on today. I put the corners that came with them on first (diamond) but took them off for other non-diamond black corners I had on. Man it sure is hot.

JoeB,

I put this stuff on my headlights/foglamps four years ago and not one scratch. I'll be putting it on my new ones ASAP. This stuff is bullet proof.

Thanks Greg, that's a great idea. Can it come off and be replaced if you want to after a couple years or is it permenant?

Hey JoeB,

Once you put it on, it's there to stay and no need to replace. Also no yellowing. Mine is as clear as the day I put it on.

Good Luck.

See PM from me..
