How long did you have them before they died?

I hope not less than 2 years. That would suck, unless you abused them or something.

I can vouch for Mark on the McCulloch kits,

I have had mine installed on my car for over 1.5yrs now and haven't had any problems. As long as you do the installation the proper way in the beginning you should have no problems. I also mounted the ballast so that its not metal to metal. i use a double sided take and covered the bottom part so its only the adhesive and mounted it in the proper area.

I love my HID kit. I'm also getting another set from mark pretty soon for my GF's car.

Could you expand on this....??? I know they have ballast covers w/ some kits, so would that cover what you just said you did?

Well the Ballast as you know on the HID kits are all metal. Instead of buying extra covers what i did was use double sides tape to cover the entire metal (bottom) portion of the ballast so when its mounted it wont touch metal contact with the body of the car. Cuz what happens is the circuits can short with metal to metal contact causing the ballast to go out. This is why most OEM hid kits have a plastic cover for the ballast or is mounted to something plastic. Now this is for some Aftermarket kits and now all from what i read on HIDFORUM before then shut down. But just to be on the safe side i did it to mine and haven't had any problems.

hope this helps a little bit
