Nope never lowered a solara. I guess thats why im asking about this. The more i find out, the more i dont want to do it. Im think i can but i just dont want to screw stuff up for not having any experience with suspension. I would like to have an experience person who has done this show me how to do it. That would be the best thing i think.

You never did a lowering for the solara did you?

You dont need a camber kit either. This is from personal experience.
Camber doesn't get too bad on the lowest spring out available.

Hey, when i put my tokico struts in and also the lowering springs, could i still blow the struts? Someone at a speedshop told me that they still will, that it just takes longer than it does for the stock ones. I have a feeling they were telling me this so i would go with the coilovers instead. It doesnt seem like any of you had any problems blowing your upgraded struts.

Stock struts with stock springs will wear out over time too.... thats the nature of suspension parts and cars in general. Ihave had my tien/tokicos for over 40k miles and they work just as well as the day i bought them.
