Super Bright Headlights?

Postby Hsakuragi » Mon Mar 28, 2005 10:41 am

I'm not saying silverstar is bad, but it's not THAT bright....i don't see why people say silverstar is that good or bright...yes, it's brighter than stock but compare to Razo, it's just another level of bright..... :)

Let me explain. Thos HID wannabe bulbs were morely desgin for show. If you notice when you try it, the stock ones are more bright at the roads. But the HIDs wannabes one when you look at the headlights looks nice and bright unlike the stock one. Trust me. Try driving in the rain at midnight. I couldnt see sh!t but then my friend 9 cars away from me was able to see my headlights. Unfortunately I couldnt see him. My headlight was bright but at the road it was dark. They wear out quick and have that coat of blue tint on them which burns out and melts over time. I had 7oooK ones. Nice for show but not recomended if you need to see the road. I have the silverstars now. Looking at the road its much more bright, but looking at the headlight its alittle tint of yellow still ( I have eagle eyes) Good for road use but not for show IMO. I havnt tried PIAA nor RAZO but heard they are brighter somewhat but looking at the road they fade faster. But ill have to try to find out myself. Ive tried every bulb so far and silverstar is the best for road use. Not show.

Stick with either stock or real HID. There is NOTHING in the middle.

Is it me or does 150 life hours not seem like a very long time? It seems like the general consensus is PIAA if you've got the money, RAZO or Silverstars if you don't, but HID is ultimately where you wanna end up.

Greg, talk to Wortown(Marc). He can give you a great price on some high quality HID's....
