One touch Close Modification for Sunroof

Yes, it sounds like there is just something wrong with yours. Mine does 1 touch close as well. It is exactly like the open, you have to hold it for like 2 secs then let go and it will close the rest of the way. If you just press it quick and let go, it will stop but you don't have to hold it until it is all the way closed. -JoeB

My 99 Camry is the same way, you have to hold it to close, it stops half way and then you press it again to fully close. I dont think anyone realizes you're talking about a 2000 4 Runner and not a Solara. Jon.[/code]

Thanks! I would think the operation would be the same on a 2000 4runner and the 2000 Solara. I asked around with other 4runner owners and they have the same issue. So weird. Is it something in the ECU programing?

I was just hoping there was an existing mod out there but I am just going to take my rig to this Alarm shop and see if they can add something like this while installing the alarm system.

my older 94 camry V6 LE has moonroof where i have to hold the close botton to close, and it stops at half way first, then i release and press the close button to close it all the way. but my 99 and newer cars all have one touch open and close moonroof.
