BUMPP!!!!

where did you tuck the wires for the ballast etc.

is there a danger of it touching some hot parts? is the ballast supposed to heat up extremely hot (enuff to melt the rubber on the wire)? i havent driven long enuff to check know whether it heats up..

I am just posting here so ppl using the search function in the future know how to do the HID install.

when you are connecting the wires, the white wire goes in the center. And the black goes into the right slot. (when the slots are facing you)

thts the only part you can mess up. everything else is simple plug and play.

Found this thread to be really helpful! thanks. Just to reiterate

0. Do not peel off the blue film backing the ballast.
1. Do not let the ballast touch any metal
2. When making the connector (plastic connector and a pair black and white wires), make sure to plug the white wire goes on the center/top slot and the black wire goes on the right side (viewing from point of insertion where the plugs are being inserted into the plastic connector).

The manufacture didn't provide any screw, should I go buy some? what size should I get?

Thanks
Eric
