Opinions Needed on Stillen Brake Components

Postby 2ksev6 » Sat Apr 07, 2007 9:58 pm

Well I got the brakes suggested, however they didn't have simply cross drilled, so I got drilled and slotted with stainless lines. I can't recall the name of the brake pads, maybe Stillen, either way the whole setup has worked out perfectly and I'd reccommend it to anyone. :D

haha, John... I think I know what you're talking about...

Tires right? Yeah guys... know you can have the best brake in the world, but if your tires suck... then yeah, you'll just be sliding. Sure you might have ABS... but remember, ABS detects when your wheel locks up and slide, and that is dependent on your tire performance grip.

differently worded:
Anti-lock braking systems help prevent locking your tires and skidding by selectively releasing pressure and pumping the brakes. So while your anti-lock brake system helps maintain steering control and directional stability, your stopping distances may be longer.

Yup... tires tires tires... pretty important "mod" if you ask me
