I don't know if it's neccessarily worth the trouble. Depending on how much you love your car now, I'd say just sell your car and buy a 5 spd solara. As stated by others the e153 is what you want. I believe that's the tranny for all the 5 speed 1mz's.

And yes, having driven and owned both an auto tranny v6 solara and a 5spd v6 solara, I can tell you the 5spd is much tourquier and faster in the 1/4 stock by about a second. You'll love it.
