I have the apexi world sport and i love it. I did want something quiet for inside the cabin. Its got a very nice sound. Its more pronounced than the stock exhaust, but its no where near loud, more of a sweet sound.

Those are my sentiments, exactly. I love the sound of my Apex'i WS. It won't impress people as much as the sound of the GReddy from outside of the car, but for me it's a perfect sound inside the car. It's enough of a sound that I can hear it and appreciate it, but it is never droning or annoying. Of course, the whole sound thing is strictly personal preference.
God I wish I lived in the States. The GReddy Evo costs between $1000 & $1100 up here. The APEXi World Sport will run you about $850. Even with the exchange, I'm still getting screwed ............ and not even a kiss first!
Might want to check the for sale thread, there is sOLaRa 4o8
selling his Apexi WS, brand new.

I was clicking some banners on speedoptions and I pulled up a page and looked up cat back exhausts for the Solara. It pulled up the known ones, but it also listed an HKS exhaust. It said to call them for more info; does anyone know about this? I can't remember the site for the life of me, but if I find it again, I'll post it.

Hey everyone, I found the site! It's http://www.digitalracer.com, just do a Solara search and look under cat back exhausts. It's the HKS Sport Exhaust. It doesn't have any info on it; does anyone know anything about the application for our car?

Get the Greddy. I have a PE(Power Extreme) on my Solara. The main difference was PE's piping was 2.5 inch Vs 2.25 on the Evo. I love the sound and the way the engine revs free. You wont regret it.

You'll be very very lucky if you get your hands on one. Those are more rare than the Greddys

And Flash, I have a clip of my car dyno'ing w/ my Greddy on, if you want it.

The Tanabe is discontinued, and the Greddy is no longer in production (they say backordered but you can do the math). The JIC Magic SUS and Apexi World Sport are the only available cat-back systems at this time. I have the JIC Magic 505Ti (Titanium) and it's quite loud, much louder than the Greddy I had before.

I have videos of my car on the dyno with the Greddy at http://www.schung07.com/ under "Videos". Have fun. :)

Steve,

Do you think they'll even fill the back orders on the greddy.

BTW the video is great. Nice dyno run :D

I ordered a Greddy evo the first week that I got my car and it was on back order for five months before I finaly got it, that was about 3 months ago. I would recomend the greddy with a SC it screams.
