I almost got failed for having blue-coated silverstar corners when I went, but that was almost 3 years ago at the Wayne DMV.

I smoked my spare set with VHT nightshades too, but it came out kind of purply for some reason. To top it off, the clear coat got messed up. (It was smooth in some places, and blotchy in others.) I tried to polish it down, and it wouldnt work so I never put them on. I should try to buff it out to see how it looks.

lol u gotta love the wayne DMV.....i was down there on the 31st of july actually (monday), and while i was waiting in line at 9am, i saw soo many cars comming out of the inspection with fail stickers...good thing i remembered to take out the HIDs and put in the regular bulbs.

they didnt let u have the hids in?

$150?????
I did mine for less than $25....$15 for vht niteshades,$4 for clear and $3 for a pack of sand paper, and a couple of hours of my time (free).

blakey2007,I put on about 5-6 coats and then 2 coats of clear and I have passed inspection since I did it.
