My God, the pics look like you're in the Arctic Circle. I'm freezing just looking at them. Oh, wait, it's frickin freezing here too.

Nice pics. Aside from the one of many rude comments from Jon, I think it looks good. I believe the springs would be worth the trouble. You'll just need to learn to avoid certain driveways and on others you can't avoid, approach them on an angle.

I'll have to look up your car to find summer pics without the stock wheels.

Thanks for sharing and it only matters what you think, not what these guys say.

I'll give compliments when due and suggestions when due as well. The bodykit is a cheap fiberglass kit and looks as such. The Solara leans more towards a GT car, not boy racer. He does have great photo skills and I should have complimented him on that. If I sound harsh so be it. As I said it was supposed to be constructive, not personal. I don't know him and I have nothing against him. Seems to be a great forum member, just trying to make suggestions. If I had to do my Solara over I would have foregone the TRD bodykit and just lowered it with the TRD suspension I had and stuck with the 18" Konig Verdicts I had. The TRD bodykit was a PITA, the car was way too low for ramps, jacking up the car, etc. We all learn. Jon.

Great Photos!!! I think thte car looks nice. I would agree that lowering it would make it look real nice, but with fiberglass, I understand your concern. I think most of us, especially college students have done things piece by piece. Coilovers might be a viable option since you can adjust the height and they are quite stiff ;)

Thanks for the compliments, and suggestions. Jon you did come off as kind of a dick the first time, watever man its all good. I happen to like my kit, except for the front, especially it being fiberglass. in pictures like the one i took, you cant see the crack on the passenger side! i hate the fiberglass, but i also dont know where to get a trd kit. The main reason i went with that kit, being it was the best kit i could find for it, and it was mainly paid for by the insurance company. I got rear ended once, which paid for my back bumper, and i went ahead and bought the rest of the kit. i didnt have money to put it on though, then i got rear ended again, almost beat the crap out of the dumbass 16 yearold, but his dad paid our quote from the shop and for that price a guy i know put on the whole kit and painted it for me!
As for rich, thanks for backing me bro! i dont have a lot of money to put into my car right now, but i do have 5% tint and 18" Zenik Sabini black chrome rims, which are not on right now cuse of winter and all that dam snow!! Again i agree i need to lower the car but i already can barely make it out of my driveway, at an angle, cuse its so steep. do you think i should try the tein superstreet suspension, or go with air bags?!? and if anyone know of where i can get trd kit, or at least the front bumper, let me know.
heres a pic with the rims for u all!

Man, I'd suggest looking into air bags if you keep the front bumper. If not, keep your eye on ebay - I see bumpers on there pretty often. I payed a company on ebay for a new painted bumper. It was a bit more than normal, but since it was painted I didn't have to waste time finding someone to paint it. I was able to swap out the bumper the same day I received it.

The stock rims don't do it justice, that other pic with the black rims doesn't make the gap look as bad with the bodykit. Looks good, just not my style. I would use coilovers rather than airbags.

Damn....

I actually read all the comments made... Some constructive, some just blunt...

Either way you look at it man, YOU own it, and how YOU feel about it is what matters.

I will add my own comment, and that is, that that particular kit is not my style, but it does look clean. The 18" rims make it look better though.

Dropping it will definitely net you a more aggressive ride, which would add to the personality the kit has added to the car. Air bags are a viable option, but be careful of the cheap ones out there, coilovers are cool (I got the Tein SS coilovers), you can adjust the height, and dampening.

JIC makes coilovers also, which are pretty good, and from what I hear, a lil too stiff... and for my driving style they probably would have been the best option. But, I ordered the step 2 springs for my fronts, which for NYC driving I need.... damn potholes!...

Good luck with your ride man, and just enjoy the hell out of it.
Geeks get it done, while Nerds whimper and call for mommie.

I'm not sure how well the angular nature of the add-on compliment those inherent to your car.
