Anything '96 or older had a return type fuel system. I'm in the middle of doing my '00 Solara, so I'll let everyone know when it gets done. Most MR2 guys who've done the 1MZ swap have been doing this forever. They're taking the returnless style fuel rails and drilling/tapping the ends. However, I'm trying something new. Which is using '96 rails, but only the 2 rear rails, because the stock setup have the regulator mounted on the front. It should work, if it doesn't, I'm going to have do it that way also.

if the two rear rails work, then that'd be an easy way.,....I thought about doing that when I installed my fpr.

in the end though, I just made a custom mounting plate for my fpr and it works pretty well. If you want, I can show you some pictures of it. It's pretty simple to do and probably less of a hassle.
