well i probably wont be running 6psi until after i have an exhaust and an safc

well i live in arkansas so.........basically i should run 93 octane?

Its alot more complicated than just running higher octane. More boost means more combustion and with the 1MZ being such a high compression engine to begin with it leads to trouble. Blowing knock sensors could turn out to be only a small problem if you go greater than 6psi. You'll need to upgrade your injectors, possibly your pump and you'll also put extra stress on your engine. Not worth it IMO

You should run Premium octane regardless if you are S/C'ed. Otherwise you'll just have to buy new knock sensors more often.
