on my 2000 after i added ONLY the S/C, my 1/4 time was 16 flat. not sure what it was stock. . .

0-60 i imagine would prolly be 5 sec perhaps. . .?

How high up above sea level are you?

I ran 16s flat in my stock auto V6.

You’re giving me the impression that racing is your main goal here. If you’re a pro with quick shifting you can do so much more with times/racing. If racing is what you want then get a 5 speed manual v6. TRD supercharger, intake, headers, y pipe, & exhaust. O a TRD quick shift kit won’t hurt. Crank that baby up and be GONE!! All that with some good shopping will run you aprox. 5G. 1.5g is not going to get you much of a differ in regard 2 power. Maybe good suspension package w/nice wheels. If you want to do it, do it right and no rice BS. Good Luck! My .2cents

PS: you also don't seem like you worry about longevity of the solara so go for NOS if you really want to! You probably don't see anyone with it because the solara is an every day meth of transportation 4 most of us & look forward to good clean fun for a long time. I would love 2 have the privilege of gutting out a solara strictly 4 race / pleasure only and have another form of transportation 4 day 2 day stuff. My dream is a 10 second starlet 1.8 Turbo rebuilt custom 4 race.

you could probably build a drag starlet running a turbo 3TC motor, and get the whole thing built for under 10K, im assuming you mean for drag racing yes? if you were autocrossing i think the Ae86 would be better...

with a car like that the car itself wouldn't cost more than 1K probably less. the engine (3TC) is an older engine with a turbo kit probably running between 2-4K maybe a bit more. new transmission new clutch, maybe another 2K, abot 2-4 K on suspension,wheels,etc....and paint...so bewteen 7-12K...which isn't bad..compoared to building a civic or crx race car which would probably cost you at least 25-30K or more...

I would love to work on that from scratch. As soon as I am done paying off my Solara I will work on it.

Plus why build a Civic when everyone and their grandma's have one! Who builds older Toyotas? Let’s just say I have not seen one on the road for a long time!
Off topic....I got this of your cardomain site HKSV6SLE (Jeff). From your favorite links. This is off the hook!

You have to see this!!!! If you have broadband then it will be quicker to download to your media player.

I just love it when a Toyota out runs a Mustang! Please tell me that is not Nitrous on the Supra.

This is brought to you by Bullish Racing; check out their site @ www.bullishmotorracing.com

Sorry if you already seen this, I am just loving it!
BTW check out their 6 second Solara.
