That rattle sound, Does it come from the actually bars themsleves clanking together? Or does it come from the actual joints that connect at the ends? If it is from the bars themselves clanking together you can dynamat the one bar. Why dynamat two bars when its only from one clanking against the other?

How to dynamat it? Thats the easy part. Just cut it in long sections with a width about 2 inches. You can get a sheet of dynamat for like 15-20 bucks depends on where you go.

You could possibly take the cheap mans way out, by finding a old section of carpet use a light coating of spray glue and place it there.

Hope it helps.....

That is a great job! Doors are the only thing im weary of dynamatting.
Was it hard? I mean I did my whole floor from the floor wells all the way to the split seat opening in 8 hours ( with help ).

Anything I should like out for? Any problems you ran into with the solara doors? Save me the time and trouble.

i didn't really read all the postings, but i would say go with at least 4 gauge or lower...oh yea, make sure you have a capacitator, otherwise ur gonna have problems especially if ur using a high power system. im gonna change to 0 gauge wire sometime soon.....and some more juice

Have your install done by a professional certified shop. By doing the install your self you will void the waranty on your alpine and the eclipse will only be one year instead of 3. Not to mention the fact that if anything goes wrong it's their fault and not your and they will hve to fix it for free if your in co, or, wa, or tx go to your nearest Car-Toys.
