Trade me your red for the silver foo lol

ok buddy here is what we need you to do
take a pic of the very front of the car and then i want you take a pic of the screws you put in for the center of the kit

the reason i ask is the gen 1.5 is 4 inches shorter then the gen 1 so you have a 8 inch gap between your valances

please go take those pics for me tomarrow
thanks

I finally found out what you mean by the 1.5 being shorter. You can see that Le's front a shorter than the gen 1 fronts. I had to look at other gen 1 fronts and compare it.

i did not use the main screws, i had to drill holes in the bumper for the screw on the valence to fit. I have pics to compare the 2 valences but i dont think the gen 1 is longer than the other. the arrows show where I put the screws. Notice that i didn't use the original middle screw on the valence. On the second pic, the gen 1 valence is on the top and gen 1.5 valence is on the bottom.

sorry if you want i'll take the pic's when with the measuring tape as for it being screwed in the bumper thats not possible either you must have screwed it into the black piece on the bottom cuz our bumpers don't curve in on the bottom don't hit the speed bump or park all the way up on in a parking spot

i forgot to say i didn't screw into the black piece, i screwed in the bumper itself all 3 screws. And i also put a metal piece in each screw for reinforcement. As I say, my uncle helped me on this, and he has some body shop experienced, maybe that's y it came out so good.

i just installed my kit today and i got everything to fit. the sides and rear are the same on the gen 1 and the 1.5 just the front is different. i installed a gen 1.5 kit on a gen 1 the front doesnt have a perfect fit but one that is close enough for me. i took a few detailed pics that ill post up later.
