its only green because I just turned it on when I took that pic. Im using Philips Ultinon 6000K D2S bulbs. It's more purple in person.

I don't know, I've always thought rainbow was gay...?
wow your using ultinon bulbs those cost too much lol

i'm supposed to be working on 2 sets of headlight 1 for gen 1 and 1 for gen 1.5

gen1 set up is E55 Bi-xenons from a 7 series with hella gen 3 ballas and 4100k phillips d2s bulbs

gen1.5 set up which will be in my car is evo8 projectors with gen3 hella ballast and 4100k D2S bulbs

and like he said its a bittch to get the alignment correct

hey do me a favor take a pic of the back i wanna see how you did the back part

gen 1 is harder to do then my 1.5 :drinking:

This isn't exactly on topic but how hard is it to remove the headlights? I tried it once and it looked like you would have to remove the bumper. Also it looks like the headlight lenses are clipped on but are they really sealed also?

I tried to take them off before and I didn't see any way to get the headlight assembly out between the crossmember in front of the engine and the bumper, not enough space. Am I missing something or is there another way to do it?

I cannot believe this is actually true, and I have missed anything of you talking about this.

I will tell ya this tho, tweazy, you have made me bump this headlight mod straight to the top of my mod list, over my suspension mods I need. Thank you. :o

You have to take out the grill. the top part of the grill is screwed to the headlight and the bottom part of the grill is snapped on to the bumper.

DIY coming soon.

I have no high beam. I was gonna go with the bi-xenon (high/low) projectors but i wasn't sure if it would fit since they are bigger and might require cutting the reflectors.

krawzyazn, any info on this?
